This technology allows the teacher to electronically facilitate a class discussion and administer tests. Electronically facilitating class discussions allows for rapid information sharing and review. Electronic administration of tests is also a tremendous time saver for teachers, who spend a significant amount of time grading papers. This technology provides the security necessary to maintain privacy while facilitating expedient teacher grading of papers. If a teacher is able to administer a test and have the results immediately, the teacher will be able to rapidly identify problem areas that need review. A key benefit is that the material can be reviewed while it is fresh in the students’ minds.
