As an Information Technology Sales Executive, you would be part of our Sales and Marketing Team, where you would be expected to learn and become intimately engaged in clients’ business needs as they relate to technology. As a consultant, it is required that you can relate to and communicate well with business leaders, owners and IT staff, when applicable, to reinforce the value of solutions that have been provided.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and become proficient in the ConnectWise suite of tools for CRM, Quotes and Pipeline.
  • Assist in evaluating client needs and determining the appropriate technology solution.
  • Assist with preparing the Statement of Work, when required.
  • Assist in presenting solutions to prospective customers.
  • Assist in each stage of the sales process with the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with our primary vendors to develop solutions and special pricing.
  • Bid preparation for large projects.
  • Client prospecting and lead generation.
  • Active participation in marketing events and speaking, as necessary.
  • Community involvement with centers of influence.
  • Develop and maintain technical understanding of our solution areas in order to design Technology solutions.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our corporate and customer data.
  • Use CRM system to track daily activities and opportunities with detailed, and accurate documentation.

Nice to have:

  • Conceptual knowledge of Network Infrastructure systems such as: Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless APs and Controllers.
  • Surface knowledge of Microsoft server platforms (2003 through 2019), desktop platforms (XP through 10) and Active Directory, including GPO management a plus.
  • Conceptual knowledge of implementing Virtualization products. i.e. VMWare, Hyper-V.
  • Conceptual knowledge of implementing and supporting Storage Area Networks.
  • Conceptual knowledge of implementing and supporting backups with various backup platforms.
  • Conceptual knowledge of wireless solutions, structured cabling of Data and Voice networks.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of three years relevant experience in the Information Technology field.

Additional Information:

  • Position will require limited evening and weekend work based on client activities.
  • Daily travel to client’s locations could be necessary All travel within the State of Indiana
  • Normal office hours are between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST
