As an Information Technology Sales Executive, you would be part of our Sales and Marketing Team, where you would be expected to learn and become intimately engaged in clients’ business needs as they relate to technology. As a consultant, it is required that you can relate to and communicate well with business leaders, owners, and IT staff to reinforce the value of solutions that have been provided.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with clients by prospecting, developing and growing relationships in the education industry focusing on K-12 schools
  • Understand our customers’ needs by demonstrating industry knowledge and solutions for K-12 schools
  • Clearly articulate the strength and value of Roeing’s solutions at the apply to education
  • Identify key stakeholders and business drivers for K-12 schools including budgeting, E-Rate and RFP processes
  • Deliver results by successfully executing the account management and sales process for all opportunities
  • Be motivated, resourceful, and take initiative to resolve issues by working with closely with the Roeing team to deliver exceptional solutions to our customers through the sales process
  • Assist with preparing the Statement of Work, when required
  • Assist in presenting solutions to prospective customers
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with our primary vendors to develop solutions and special pricing
  • Bid preparation for large projects
  • Utilize and become proficient in our suite of sales tools for CRM, Quotes and Pipeline
  • Active participation in marketing events and speaking, as necessary
  • Community involvement with centers of influence
  • Develop and maintain technical understanding of our solution areas to design Technology solutions
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our corporate and customer data
  • Use CRM system to track daily activities and opportunities with detailed, and accurate documentation

Skills:

  • Conceptual knowledge of Network Infrastructure systems such as: Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless APs and Controllers
  • Surface knowledge of Microsoft server platforms, desktop platforms, and Active Directory, including GPO management a plus
  • Conceptual knowledge of implementing Virtualization products. i.e. VMWare, Hyper-V
  • Conceptual knowledge of implementing and supporting Storage Area Networks
  • Conceptual knowledge of implement business continuity solutions with various backup platforms and solutions
  • Conceptual knowledge of Cybersecurity solutions for K-12 schools is a plus
  • Conceptual knowledge of wireless solutions, structured cabling of Data and Voice networks

Additional Information:

  • Pay is calculated on a base plus commission incentive package which ranges from an individual’s performance to drive business revenue. Range is $80,000 – $130,000+
  • Position will require limited evening and weekend work based on client activities
  • Daily travel to client’s locations could be necessary All travel within the State of Indiana
  • Normal office hours are between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST
  • Hybrid work environment that is mainly remote but will require some time at our Lafayette office for meetings and training as needed
